About
Ben Fargher is a senior executive with extensive experience in agribusiness, farm to consumer supply chain management, corporate affairs and environmental markets. His capabilities draw on both operational and strategic expertise across commercial agriculture, sustainability, industry policy and advocacy.
Most recently Ben was the Group Sustainability Lead for Cargill's Ag and Trading business in APAC. In this role he was responsible for a customer focused Sustainability portfolio, including carbon and water projects. Ben was also the Country Representative for Cargill in Australia.
Ben previously held commercial Managing Director roles at Cargill in North America and Australia.
Before working at Cargill, Ben worked as the General Manager of Operations for a publicly listed cotton and grain agribusiness. He was also previously the Chief Executive Officer of the national farm lobby group in Australia, the National Farmers’ Federation.
Ben, who grew up on a farm in Australia, has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from the University of Adelaide and a Masters degree in Economics from the University of New England.
