Pip Wilkes is the Senior Administrator and Executive Assistant to the Director at AFII, as well as AFII’s Community Champion. With a background spanning hospitality, tourism, executive support and community engagement, Pip brings a wealth of operational management experience and a genuine passion for connecting people.

She joined AFII to be part of a team that works with a diverse range of stakeholders across research, industry, and government. The role offered an opportunity to apply her skills in people and operations within an intellectually stimulating and rewarding environment, while contributing to work that has real-world impact in the agrifood sector.

Pip is particularly passionate about stakeholder engagement and enjoys creating opportunities for people to come together for mutual benefit. She believes AFII’s role in connecting and facilitating collaboration across the agricultural landscape is vital to strengthening national and global agrifood security.

Pip values the power of people, passion, and purpose to create lasting change. Outside of work, she loves being outdoors and finds joy in nature, food, and music, the universal languages that bring people together.
