Student projects and internships

By hosting an ANU intern, you will benefit from having a student contribute their skills and talents to your projects, while also investing in the future agrifood workforce.

ANU has high-performing students across a range of disciplines relevant to the needs of the agrifood sector, including engineering, computer science, biology, marketing, economics, policy and regulation. We make it easy for you by understanding your needs and matching the best intern with your opportunity.

What commitment is required?

The time commitment for a host organisation is negotiable depending on your needs and availability, but most internship placements are for 1-2 days per week over three months, or as a short 3-4 week block. There are also opportunities to offer longer, more involved internships, particularly for postgraduate students.

Each student intern will need a host supervisor, ideally in person, to support their development during the program.

There is no cost to the host organisation, although we do encourage hosts to offer a stipend or scholarship.
