As part of the Australian National University, AFII provides a single gateway to world-class expertise and infrastructure. With Sheep Producers Australia, Julian undertook a project that explored how industry organisations represent producers and influence government decision-making. The project allowed him to lean into his interest in policy and science communication while working on a real challenge facing the sector.
Working as part of a team of six students, Luella helped develop a model examining a new ownership model of solar and battery assets on farms. The project used a commercial piggery in Kerang, Victoria, to test both the economic and environmental feasibility.
